My name is Kitty Williams and I’m a senior English communications major at Salve Regina University with a minor in film. I went into school undecided on my major but quickly settled into the english and film departments where I feel comfortable in knowing this is what I am meant to do, yet challenged in the important ways that lead to growth.
My sophomore year, I decided to join the staff of Salve Regina’s student-run newspaper, The Mosaic. I’ve been a writer for for three years and the Co-Editor-in-Chief for one.
My writing can also be seen on The Refined Woman, an online magazine based in New York City. The process involves researching, interviewing, and writing profiles on New York City women for monthly publication. I also served as the social media coordinator for The Refined Woman from May 2017- January 2018. In January, my focus shifted entirely to writing, and I now write show notes for the newly launched podcast called The Refined Collective.
